Vancouver's Bartending School Since 1981
A State-of-the-Art Facility
Newly renovated in the heart of Gastown, Vancouver, and built around a real 22-foot working bar.
The Difference Is in the Details
Six reasons students pick Fine Art over other Vancouver bartending courses.
You are Behind the Bar Immediately
Over two-thirds of every bartending class is hands-on time on our 22-foot training bar. The rest is instructor-led theory that makes the practical work stick.
A Curriculum Built for Real Bars
We teach the cocktails, service standards, and spirit knowledge that Vancouver bars actually expect. Our textbook is on its 16th edition for a reason.
We Help You Get Hired
Job prep is built into the program: interview coaching, resume guidance, trial-shift advice, and the Vancouver Bartender Job Board are all included.
Recognized Certification
Our Commercial Bartender Certificate is accepted by bars, restaurants, hotels, and clubs across Vancouver and beyond. It is the credential employers know.
Unlimited Free Retakes
If you do not pass the practical exam on your first attempt, come back at no charge. We do not move on until you are ready.
Located in Vancouver
We have been at the same Vancouver location for over four decades. You know where to find us, and so do employers.
The Textbook
The Commercial Bartending Manual
The reference our students keep long after the course ends.
On its 16th edition, our in-house manual covers spirits, cocktail families, mixology, responsible service, hospitality, and how to find your first job. Every student gets a copy included in tuition, and it becomes your reference long after the course ends.
What Happens After Day 7
Where our graduates end up once the course wraps.
"Recently hired as a bar manager. I took the program to sharpen up on hiring and performing behind the bar."
"I wanted to move from server to bartender at Whitespot. With the training, my manager trusted me in the new role."
