Retake Policy

Our guarantee is simple: you will be a great bartender at the end of the Commercial Bartending Program. If you don't feel confident when the program wraps, or you want to brush up on your skills months or years later, you can retake the program.

Students retaking the course a second time pay a small administration fee to secure their seat — it includes your new textbook (the most up-to-date edition is Edition 16). Here's the process:

1. Complete the payment on the course retake page
2. Provide your student number found on your certificate or in your order confirmation email. If you don't have this, email us a photo of your textbook or certificate.
3. We review your information and follow up if we have questions
4. If approved, you'll receive an email confirmation that you're registered for the class you requested
5. If not approved, you will get a refund for your payment

Priority goes to new students, so you may be added to a waitlist for your preferred date. We'll warn you after you register if this might be the case. If your requested class fills, we'll work with you to find the next date that fits.

If you're currently enrolled and miss a day, you usually don't need this policy at all — we'll schedule you into the day you missed in another time slot. For example, if you're in the evening classes and miss Day 2, we can insert you into Day 2 of the weekend cohort when the schedules line up. Running late? Text us at 236-200-0584 and we'll let your instructor know. Sick? Stay home — we'll find you a day to make up the class; just tell us why you stopped coming so we can note it on your student profile. And if you know in advance you can't make every day, email us before your program starts and we'll do our best to build you a custom schedule.

Retakes are for students who took the program at Fine Art Bartending School Vancouver. If you trained at another location, you aren't eligible — the schools have no connection to one another. We only have records of students since 2020: if you joined earlier, proactively email us a photo of your certificate with your request so we can verify your enrolment.
